My daughter, the hopefully future queen

It's a penny per vote thing that determines the Chain O' Lakes Festival queen, who gets a crown and a sash and rides in the Festival parade. You really just can't get any more small-town midwest America than that. Here's the pic and article that will accompany the pics of the other six girls in next week's paper:



Jillian Hunter, daughter of Mark Hunter of Albion and Diana Emmons of Kendallville, is a sophomore at East Noble High School. She participates in theater, and is a member of East Noble's Show Choir, Premier Edition. Her sister and aunt are both former Chain O' Lakes Festival Queens.

Jillian's hobbies include reading, writing, dancing, singing, and hanging out with her friends. Her summer plans include attending Show Choir practices, learning to drive, learning to play the guitar, and going to the beach with friends. Her can is located at Fischer Pharmacy and Home Medical, 112 N Orange Street.
