Two things combined together because they didn't cross-post properly from Dreamwidth:

I'm going to be on a calendar. No, really.

Okay, actually the cover of Storm Chaser's going to be on a calendar:

Not because of anything I did, but because my cover was done by Whiskey Creek Press Art Director Gemini Judson, who's not only an amazing artist but also a writer, herself. Don't believe me? Shame on you: Check out her somewhat PG-13 rated website:  http://www.gemjudson.com/Gemini/Welcome.html

Of course, this has nothing to do with my talent as a writer! Still, pretty cool art. Everyone, including the homeless guy on the corner, seems to be giving away free calendars these days, but it's worth at least checking out this one.

On a totally unrelated note, we're going to try doing Christmas cards this year, so if anyone wants
one e-mail me your address; don't assume I already have it, as I've been
unable to find the envelopes I kept from previous Christmases. Kinda
sad, isn't it?

On a very related note, I've lost the list of
people who wanted a copy of my Christmas short story: It features some
characters from Storm Chaser, so if you've bought the book or been to
one of the signings, let me know if you're interested and I'll e-mail it
to you.

Nice! Lately, it's like every-time I think: Mark's done something awesome... you go and follow p with something even more awesome :)

This one was especially cool, because ... I didn't have to do anything at all other than announce it! But I'll try to work harder on the next big thing. :-)

I bought your book! (And my sister finally gave it back so hopefully I can get it signed sometime.) I'd love to get a copy of your Christmas short story.

Didn't do cards last year but plan to this year. I'll either e-mail you my address or get your card out this week so you'll have it. Or both.

PS - I haven't forgotten that I offered to send you the Oz/Wonderland modern day crossover comics. I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that I'm still not organized from moving - over a year ago. I use the excuse that I work full time and am in school half-time....

Don't worry about that -- I moved into this house 22 years ago, and I'm still not organized! I remember that a case of cassette tapes went missing after my move, and I'd assumed I lost them in a car I traded in -- then found them in attic of the garage five years later.

I think I have your correct e-mail; if I do, you'll know in a few minutes!

Is that cool, or what? By which I mean surreal and a bit head-spinning.

Thanks, and now you have it ... if I have the correct e-mail address!
