What's the longest book you've ever read? What's the shortest?
Hm ... while sorting through all the old books in my mind, it occurred to me that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is right up there with the longest books I've ever finished; I tackled a lot of the very long classics when I was too young to get them, and never ended up finishing. Although as I recall, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was about 5,000 leagues too long.
I can't say for the shortest book. Jonathon Livingston Seagull?
