The Great Escape

Ranger got out when the lid on his running ball popped open (yes, we were warned about that). He went all Terminator on a mouse behind my kitchen cupboard and took the nest over, and it took three days to get him cornered. I didn't want to mention it until I knew whether the story had a happy ending, but he's back where he belongs.

Well, *he* doesn't think he belongs there. He tries to make his way out whenever the cage is opened -- I think he found a sexy female mouse somewhere out there, because he doesn't like that cage one bit anymore. On the other hand, he used to get bullied by the other hamster, Morelli, but within minutes of them meeting up again he'd kicked Morelli's butt in a *very* loud demonstration that he was mad as hell, had learned a few things, and wasn't going to take it anymore.

*sigh* Oh, the drama.
