moose tracks -- best ice cream EVER.
Too bad about the cell phone! but probably not uncommon.

So, the only thing you have to fear is ... fear itself? :-)

Re: moose tracks -- best ice cream EVER.
Actually, I think the cell phone is lost somewhere here under stuff, in a box or something. We've been remodeling since last December after the tree attack. Moving stuff around and trying to live in this old house while we fix it up.

The cell phone is one of those prepaid thingies and I hardly ever used it. I'm sure I'll unearth it one of these days and start using it for emergencies again.

Yes, moosetracks ice cream is great! Ours is Ohio-style with little buckeyes in it. : )

Re: moose tracks -- best ice cream EVER.
I know the feeling. My house has been a wreck ever since my daughter moved in, split with her husband, moved out, then moved back in again with her boyfriend and cats. Now that *all* of them are out (the cats left yesterday) I have a huge cleaning and organizing job ahead of me. I can only imagine what I'm going to find in all those nooks, crannies, and boxes!

Happy hunting!

No one has nooks, crannies and boxes like we do, not to mention stacks of papers!

Have fun. I know how it is.

PS: Do you miss the cats yet?

Re: Happy hunting!
Miss the cats? If you mean still being careful whenever you open a door and jumping whenever my foot touches anything, yes. But if there was a chance I missed them before, it vanished when I was cleaning last night and sent myself into an allergy attack just by moving some papers.

In other words -- no. :-)

Yes! Great saying, no? I invented it along with the internet. *s*

Re: Fear this!
Yes, at least 4 years.

Actually, it comes in handy when I'm delivering papers (my free exercise job) and come across a loose dog acting like he wants to do me in.

Re: Fear this!
Oooohh, scary doggie! :-)

I found out that if I act slightly scared, they know it and take advantage of that fact. I did get bit a couple of times by dogs. Once, I had thick cords on--that helped; I only got a big bruise. I didn't even know that one was coming. Right after the attack, I heard a lady yelling "Satan! Get over here!"

At one house I used to deliver, there were two little pugs who would always vie for my attention. They were vicious about it, too. One would jump on the other while I was petting the other. Their yard was enclosed by an invisible fence. Once when they were following me across the yard, the bigger one jumped up and bit my butt just as I got to the zapping line. I think it wanted to keep me on the right side of the fence. Again, no skin was broken, but I had a nice little bruise.

Yes, Satan was a big black dog and very sneaky. I didn't know he was there until he bit me. That could preach. *g*
