I got the same gender ratio as you...
I find it both funny and sad this meme thinks you write too much. I don't agree that being on the web means you have to keep it short and simple. People are capable of reading more than LOLcats and icon text!

But hey... lucky number 13! :)

Well, this meme obviously wasn't designed with writers in mind ... especially long winded writers like me!

I have no answer on the gender thing ...

It refuses to do mine - it says there is insufficient data available.

Which is silly, because 90% of my posts are public, I think it just doesn't like me.

Well, it's probably for the best -- it keeps telling people they're long-winded and of questionable sexuality!

Almost snap. I got the same readability and conventional rating and the matrix is identical. The only difference was the number of sentences per entry which was 127.

I think this is being influenced by the presence of fanfic.

Yes, fanfic would tend to send yours and most of my flist way up. Then there are my columns, which at 1,000 words each are at the high end of acceptable for most newspapers. But if I'm verbose, you must be super-verbose! :-) I think this thing was designed by young people dealing with the texting generation.

Count on my flist to come up with this stuff!

I am mildly disturbed by the "fact" that I am more male than you. All my flist appear to be conventional and verbose - which I interpret as meaning that we use accurate grammar and spelling, write in sentences and not in txtspk and possibly have a reading and writing age into the double digits.

Everyone on my flist is conventional and verbose, too (I don't know how many friends we share, though). I'm with you -- the people who designed this thought it would be taken by the texting generation.

I have no answer on the gender question, though! Maybe you're normal and I'm a girly-man.
