Man Of Steel

I spent the whole time on the way to the movies complaining that I *liked* the Christopher Reeve version of Superman, that I didn't want the character to go dark, and that while I was sure Man Of Steel would be a well done movie, I had a feeling it would leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I take it all back.

Man Of Steel is probably the best movie I've seen since The Avengers, and that's going some. Spectacular, well done in every way, and although Superman's origins are shown with the bad side as well as the good, Kal-El himself emerges as the person and superhero Superman was intended to be. Also, there were lots of great little Easter eggs.

And, the popcorn was great.
