Just stepping in for a second to wish happy birthday this week to 
delirious_kris, dancyer, and 
vvovat!!!! I try to hit the birthdays when they happen, but this hasn't been the kind of week for that -- and the rest of the year's not looking too goo, either. Just the same, that's one day when everyone should try to drop their responsibilities and take it easy -- at least, as much as they can.
I've got the first assignment of my new writing job done, will give more details later. Meanwhile, though, a meme that's kinda/sorta birthday related -- at least this time:
