I've been off antibiotics for my sinus infection for less than a week, and already I'm down with a bad head cold -- probably caught from my daughter. Anyone who hasn't been sick at least once this winter, raise your hand ... anyone? Anyone? That's what I thought.
On the brighter side, we got half a foot of snow in the last storm. Wait, did I say brighter side? I have a few pictures, but they'll have to wait until my camera, my computer and I are all in the same place at the same time. Emily and I took a long walk during the heaviest of the snowfall the other night. Yes, I know, dumb idea when I was already not feeling well; but it was really beautiful, the way both light and sound were muffled by the amount of snow coming down, and everything still a virgin white.
This in no way takes away from the feeling I demonstrated in my column. :-) Especially since they're predicting more snow for tomorrow.
On the other brighter side, I've been looking for my manuscript of a romantic-comedy novel I wrote several years ago, and finally found it; Emily's reviewing it for errors, then I'm going to print out a pristine copy and hop on the fiction marketing bandwagon again. Meanwhile, she's got me working on a Buffy/Doctor Who crossover for relaxation ...
I'm hopelessly behind on my flist; will read, may not comment much for the a little while. I'm still here!
