Because this is bad.

I'm off on a road trip! I'm leaving this afternoon, driving two states over to Missouri, to visit the wonderful strangexgirl!

Please, nobody defriend me, I'll be back -- promise! But I'll be hopelessly behind by then, of course ... unlike times in the past, when I was able to at least take time to read my flist, I'm likely to be totally away from the internet for five or six days. strangexgirl only has dial-up, and we'll be too busy to use it, anyway. Naturally I'll answer comments when I return, and I have a couple of stories almost ready to post.
