Mostly it's because one or two of my friends have gone over there with no intention of coming back to LJ; you'll find nothing there that won't also be here. This is assuming I remember to post there, of course!

haha - That looks oddly familiar. Six Apart doesn't own it, do they?

No, you're far from the only one who got turned off LJ.

I'm told Six Apart doesn't own IJ, but it sure does look similar, doesn't it? I'm surprised nobody has sued!

Actually, I vaguely recall reading somewhere that the LJ software was Open Source...maybe it really is.
