Yep, this one again. This time snagged from cbtreks.

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.

Instead, he watched in dismay as the iron tool made a low arc, and smashed into the boat's engine. Pieces flew; some kind of liquid spurted into the air. Black Suit Guy grabbed onto the windshield as the boat rocked, sending ripples across the water.

“Got oars?” Dad asked as he climbed behind the wheel.

“I do,” his adversary replied with a sigh.

“If I were you I'd paddle to the mainland side.” Dad slammed the door, then rolled the window down to add, “Turn left when you get to the first fork – there are signs after that.”

(Okay, so I cheated. I was at work, and there were no books nearby, then I suddenly realized there was one right in front of me, on the computer screen -- mine. So this is from Chapter 13 of Red is For Ick, by Mark Hunter)
