Okay, two things. First, a rather odd question related to my novel. strangexgirl and I decided to throw it up to the flist: Can any of you think of a movie in which the killer stuck around after committing his crime, even if he could have gotten away? I'm not counting his/her own home. It's just a throw-away line in the book, but now I'm curious.
Second, an update on my other writing thing from this fall, in which I sent an electronic submission in for the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award. I received this e-mail:
Congratulations! We are emailing to notify you that your entry is eligible for the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award.

Which, of course, simply means that I was able to put the submission into the correct format! But I have a history of bad luck in that area, so this came as a great relief to me. Keep writing!
