Halfway there! *whew*

I got this from

My NaNoWriMo Progress

Okay, two things. First, a rather odd question related to my novel. strangexgirl and I decided to throw it up to the flist: Can any of you think of a movie in which the killer stuck around after committing his crime, even if he could have gotten away? I'm not counting his/her own home. It's just a throw-away line in the book, but now I'm curious.

Second, an update on my other writing thing from this fall, in which I sent an electronic submission in for the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award. I received this e-mail:

Congratulations! We are emailing to notify you that your entry is eligible for the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award.

We take the contest review process very seriously, and are working diligently to consider each submission carefully. Submissions are now being reviewed by a team of Amazon editors and Amazon top reviewers. Best of luck,
ABNA Admin Team

Which, of course, simply means that I was able to put the submission into the correct format! But I have a history of bad luck in that area, so this came as a great relief to me. Keep writing!
